Massey Ferguson Garden/Lawn Tractor
Hi, I"m getting ready to slowly restore a Massey Ferguson MF8H lawn tractor. She"s complete and runs & moves, but she"s tired. What type of oil does the hydostatic trans take? 46 B won't start
New 6 volt battery, new "0" guage battery cable, 2 new plugs [3116], new plug wires, new dist. wire cranks fine but backfires through exhaust with black smoke. Will not start. When putting new plug wires on I noticed left cyl. plug wire was on bottom dist. hole not top one as per owners manual...- Jim Sanders

8.1L propane power
Looking at a Chebbie C5500 with an 8.1L propane powered engine and Allison auto (6spd.???) It"s an ex-Schwans truck. Looking to pull a tri-axle trailer at about 17,000 total lbs. NO TUBES
So you take the tubes out and then weigh in on an inaccurate scale the following year or even a different scale altogether and proceed to tell us two tubes for 14.9 x 38's weigh 75 lbs. each. Gotcha!
