J.D. 4450 p quad-range
mattd. Hi, did these pressure checks at engine idle 1000 rpm's. I checked Hyd.scv. sits about 2200 psi. only has 25 hrs. on new oil&filters. Hi/Lo linkage is good.with all the info you have given me. I must be low on pressure at the Hi/Lo valve? Thank you so much for all the information because...- James A.

matte. clutch seems to work fine,did pressure check at regulating valve with clutch in&out hi/lo back&forth pressure jumped between 169 to 174 Psi. the lube pressure I couldn"t get a good reading I think it was around 24 psi.while shifting with clutch in and out. when I engage the clutch and put...- James A.

Thanks for the imput. I phoned the person I bought the tractor from,He said it never smoked until he had the injector pump and injectors rebuilt.He also thinks its out of time abit. So how do I retard or advance the timing, its a rosamaster pump, Do I loosen those two nuts and rotate the pump or...- James A.

I bought a 64 4020 diesel with rebuilt engine injector pump & injectors. paid $8000. for it, I want to use it on a haybine this summer. it starts and runs great lots of power, but it smoks blue all the time. is there a way to turn down the fuel on the injection pump? black olly stuff running out...- James A.

having trouble with the p-shift part, when I push the clutch in and put shift lever in 1 or 3 whichever the case, it seems to stay in 2 or 4 until I let the clutch out then it shifts to 1 or 3. It seems when I put the lever through nuetral it stays in the higher gear until I let the clutch out...- James A.
