    Just split a 65 for a clutch, the housing was soaked in oil. Rear crank seal was bad. I pulled the bellhousing/engine plate off and the crankseal housing and found two little bits of rubber lodged in the silicon used by the previous guy who opened it up. Where do they go? The 2 x wick...

    Anyone know what Battery fits in the Ford 8000 without binding with the gear linkage? Customer has been putting the normal Ford tractor battery in but at 8.5" its too wide, really needs to be about 7.5".

    as far as i can recall the 8000 and 9000 had its gears mounted with keys on shafts, whereas the 900 range were splined to the shafts
