    m 1855 at first only pushed water at idle , dont know why , then as it got worse it would empty the rad. hot at any speed , pressure test the cooling system hot & cold if needed , just use caution not to crank it over if you happen to fill cyl. with water

    its stuck completly down , i really never use it , thats partly the cause probably. if its to much to fix ill just leave it alone was just hoping it would work for my grandkids to drive easier

    i didnt put air in the fuel line just the air intake. but yes ive learned the hard way in the past & crushed a float befor , but not this way , and as far a drilling in a carb. ya its a NO NO but it had to be that way & turned out fine it was just the needle seat & its not my first time around...

    yep thats how i bolted manifold up so it was in line with head , & yes i plugged the vac. hole . tonight i pressurized the intake manifold with some air & spayed soapy water to see if it leaked anywhere & it dont , even @50 PSI which is more then high vac. would ever be. its looking like carb...

    i think you will need steps off a 55 series , the 50 & 00 are different , at least my 1855 has a different style step then the 1650 i have . there are lots of places to buy new reprodutions but new or used there pricy , just bought one for a 1650 was around $80 new
