    Are new cub coils reliable

I for sure ordered a 6v coil but I am not sure if I can tell now if I was possibly sent a 12v. Maybe an ohm test. I really want a factory look so maybe I will buy a fresh one next spring when it gets enough of a work out to know I got a good one so

    Are new cub coils reliable

I have a 1951 cub which had been running fine for 50 years. It is battery ignition and the coil top popped off. To get it through the holiday weekend we bought an automotive 6 v coil. I later replaced the coil with one of the reproduction iron coils from stiener. It started and ran fine. Do to...

    611b clutch adjustment

When my pedal broke I started looking at is closely and noticed a bend in the adjustment link. Can someone maybe take a pic of theirs and approximate length? I am guessing it is supposed to be straight and that I may need to make a new one.

611B Case o Matic not disengaging

I actually feel stupid but happy. A pin fell out of clevis so the pedal was doing nothing but stretch the spring. I guess I should have started with the simple stuff rather than panic.

611B Case o Matic not disengaging

My 611b has been working fine for about 5 years after fixing the engine. The pressure would stay in the green and the clutch worked fine. This year the pressure started reading a little high but it still worked fine. Now the pressure is high but if I press the clutch pedal the tractor keeps...

50a oil pressure question and oil selection

The manual calls for 10w, 20xw or 30w based on temp so that is why I went with 10w30 I didn't think they wanted thicker.

50a oil pressure question and oil selection

I blew up the perkins in my 1972 50a last year and rebuilt the engine. turned, crank, resized rods full kit and oil pump. Everything plastic gauged good. We put 10/30 oil in it and now have about 20 hours on it. Stone cold it has about 80 PSI. Once full hot at slow idle it has 20 psi, if...

quick connect for 50a backhoe with MF300 loader Titan ki

I finally got my 50a back up and running and now I would like forks on it. I am considering forks that connect to the bucket but would be even cooler is to go to a quick attach. I was looking at the titan quick attach kit and it is rated at 3500 pounds, is this to weak? it looks like from...
