    Mitsubishi BD2F track repair

Thanks again for the reply. That's kinda what I thought. I don't know why the guy I bought the tractor from fixed it the way he did..and not correctly. I don't have a manual so I'm going to wing it and hope for the best. Doesn't sound too difficult tho.

    Mitsubishi BD2F track repair

Thanks for the reply. Actually, the adjuster rod didn't break. It is very rusty and the guy I bought the tractor from just spot welded a piece of pipe in place to hold the tension (there was no track adjustment). The piece of pipe came off and allowed the track to come off the front roller (the...

    Mitsubishi BD2F track repair

OK - I got my light situation fixed, got my cylinders rebuilt, fixed my cooling problem. Thanks to all for the advise. Now I have a new problem. The track adjuster broke on my dozer and as a result I threw the track. Does anyone have any experience they could share about both replacing the rod...

    Another BD2F question

Yes....it does have the power shift with a torque converter. What should I look for? What does a repair entail?

    hydraulic capacity BD2F

Still trying to get a manual. There is no water in any of the three dip stick holes. The water in the hydraulic lines may not even be related to the radiator. I did fix a very small seep in the bottom of the upper radiator hose. I also did notice a small spot on the radiator that appears to have...

    Another BD2F question

No chunks out of the fan blade or shroud. I did tighten the belt. Don't know if that helped or not.

    hydraulic capacity BD2F

I checked the dozer today and don't see any place that water/oil cross....no tubes, hoses etc. I ran it for about an hour and couldn't even get the temp gauge to rise...but it wasn't under any load. I didn't push any brush or dirt today. Any other ideas??? Thanks.

    hydraulic capacity BD2F

Kind of my thinking too. There is water in the hydraulic fluid...no water in the engine oil. The radiator uses about a gallon of water in 2.5-3 hours. Where do I look to solve the problem?? Thanks.

    Another BD2F question

My dozer 'over heats' after about two hours of running time. I checked the radiator and the level was down to the top of the cores. I don't see any visible water leaks in the radiator, hoses etc. Any ideas? Thanks again.

    hydraulic capacity BD2F

Can anyone please tell me the capacity of the hydraulic fluid (in quarts/gallons) in a Mitsubishi BD2F dozer. Also, am I correct in that the hydraulic system uses 10w non-detergent motor oil as the hydraulic fluid? The hydraulic fluid in my dozer looks as if there is water in it. Any ideas about...

    BD2F wiring schematic

OK - I'll assume that no one has an electrical schematic that they can share....so, can someone answer this for me? What are the three light (from left to right) on the dash supposed to indicate? What is the purpose of the switch on the left side of the dash (lights, master - on/off)? The wiring...

    BD2F wiring schematic

I know it might be a long shot....but, does anyone have a wiring schematic for a Mitsubishi BD2F that they could post here on the forum? I don't have a manual yet (and I'm not even sure the wiring is shown in the service manual). I sure would appreciate it. It looks like most of the wiring is...

Thanks. I'll check here (in the US) to see what kind of luck I have.

    BD2F lights

Thanks for the tip. Do you recall the brand name or where you purchased them? Are they holding up well? Where did you find the H1 bulbs?

    BD2F lights

The only load I am going to be pulling off the battery will be the lights (which may get used once a year). Are you saying that it is better to stick with the 24v system and lights? If I can find the bulbs and reflectors I will do that.....but if I can't find the replacement parts then I will...
