    Seals LONG 1548A Loader

A friend owns a 1989 Long 2360 Model 2050 with a Long loader 1548A with cylinders by Gold Star, Laurens, IOWA (since changed to Fisher) part # A060CY02 . The cylinders that raise and lower the loader are leaking. Anyone know where to get the seal kit from or have a diagram? Thanks in advance...

    Long 2360 Voltage Regulator Adjustment

To repair the charging circuit, a friend of mine replaced the alternator and the voltage regulator on his tractor. I am concerned with the readings he is getting at the battery. 1,000 RPM voltage is 16.73 volts and at 1,500 RPM it is 17.62 volts. Is there any adjustment on the voltage...

    JD 5500 tractor

Must likely the tach was broken and they replace the cluster. Here is some info. If you buy it make sure you get the parking stands for the loader, sometimes this part is missing. http://www.tractordata.com/farm-tractors/000/0/9/90-john-deere-5500.html Loader manual...

    John Deere 520 Loader

If you are open to sharing your e-mail address with me. I can send you various pictures of the stands for my 540 loader which I have a ruler along side that should give you the measurements you want. The pictures are too big to upload to the site and if I make them smaller, they will be harder...

John Deere 5210 tachometer reading incorrectly

More than likely the one you are using is setup for 4 cylinder and not 3 cylinder. If is an old one there will be a switch on the back. If it is a new one it has to be programmed for 3 cylinder. There is a kit to do this, but I believe it is around $75. I would call your local JD dealer and see...

    JD 5045 (2009)

+1 to what TX Jim said. On the thermostat housing there is a sensor that is connected to a two wire harness that goes to the injection pump; this is the "cold start advance" portion of the system so it starts easier when cold by advancing the timing. When the sensor on the thermostat housing...

JD 5300 Clutch Replacement Help Needed

As suggested first check the clutch free play. Operators manual should have this. Then go to selectmanuals.com and get the tech manual $29.95. I would go with a new clutch pack and not mess with just trying to replace the clutch. If you have the tools, a little help and a cement floor to work on...

    5510 clutch

Maybe this picture will it was taken from the 5X10 tech manual. If you do not have the manual you might want to take a look at selectmanuals.com. Please consider letting us know how the split went. Also did you just replace the clutch disk or did you go with the clutch pack/assembly option.

Did you clean the pick-up screen, which is located back were you connect the PTO? Here is link to the operator's manual. The pick-up screen is in section 125. When I cleaned mine, it was hard to get out, but it did come out. http://manuals.deere.com/omview/OMRE71736_19/

    5403 water circulating issue

Can not hurt to try this. I am thinking about changing the coolant in my 5210 this summer, we have the same engine. The engine manual ctm125 says - a pocket of air can stay on the top rear of engine. When refilling cooling system, loosen coolant temperature sensor to allow air to escape. -
