    HELP my memory

    what is the offical name for the part sits on top of the engine (mower, tiller etcc..) that you pull to start it? Pull cord does not rewind and plastic up inside of it is worn to wear it does not grip. I am having a brain fade and cannot think of the name of the part to look it up.

    Check Chains for GarandpaJack

    Sparex makes a good replacement check chain. They run ~$8.50 each and come complete with 2 clevises. FYI The origional chains were 7 links long. The origonal chain link length is slightly smaller than todays links, so getting chain from the hardware will make it slightly less then 1/2 link...

    hydraulic oil????

    In the Ferguson Group. We've been recommending 10W-40 for years for improved winter operation. This oil is of the same viscosity as the GL-1 90wt gear lube orgionally recommend. So you will be fine.
