Farmall M Pops out of 4th

I am refurbishing this tractor for a senior project in high school. It is a '41 M. When I was using before I started tearing it down I noticed it popped out of 4th occasionally. Only 4th though. I have only taken the cover off the transmission,as of yet. Before I start tearing into it I was...

    International harvester 334

I'm a Ford 'N' person mostly. Don't know much about them though, but even less about other tractors. Been looking for something to hang a Ditch Witch Backhoe off of. Most on the 'N' board say it's best to find something a little bigger than the 'N' to use. I was hoping to find a good runner...

    Bruce/re:50th

Hello Bruce, have 8N (1952) & 9N (1940), both restored, org colors. This Forum has helped me a lot in the past. When I saw Ft.Bragg, it brought back a lot of memories. I was at Bragg in 1962/63, but was a Legg (Did not jump), in a Chemical Co. God bless.

    9N Hydraulics

Zane, I got the valve out. Took off the PTO cover on left side, and valve broke free. I am going to try & send a picture of the old valve. If you do not get the picture, I found the plunger inside of the spring was broken into. I hope this was my problem. Have you ever seen this problem...

    9N Hydraulics

Zane: All I have for now is an 11/16" open end wrench, I am turning it counter clockwise. It seems like it is welded in there. I can't use an 11/16" box end wrench because of the cotter key. I just tried again about 5 minutes ago & it will not come free. Before I break something, I'm going...
