    I'm converting my perkins ad3.152 engine from a rope seal setup to a lip seal setup. I got a new short block and oil pan, both of which are supposed to fit me 205 industrial, however, on the old oil pan in the front there are six bolt holes either threaded or not for how the front axle support...

    Thank you. My manual specifies 90-95 ft lbs for the main caps...are those figures you provided revised? If so, do you know where I can get a copy of this updated list? I'm also curios about revised head bolt torque.

    These valves have a double spring, small inside one, do these seals interfere with these inside springs. I'm wondering if the kit supports other heads as well thus the reason why they included them...I wonder if I'm supposed to use them for my ad3.152 diesel head.

    Perkins Locking Tab Kit, how important is it?

    Rebuilding my ad3.152 and my locking tabs for the crank caps, flywheel, idler gear and cam are shot. Anyone leave these out and been ok with the omission? Or have you seen these torqued bolts back off. Other engines don't use locking tabs like these, like a 289 ford small block I'm rebuilding...

    How to remove crankshaft gear on ad3.152?

    Anyone have a trick on how to remove this gear and then reinstall it on a new crank? I've tried a large gear puller and heating, but it won't budge. I'm afraid I might break the gear puller.

    Thanks. I read somewhere these blocks were prone to cracks near the cylinder wall due to thin material (speculation?) and updated head bolt torques were adjusted, but I couldn't find any info on the update. Also, I just bought a new preassembled ad3.152 short and the mains were torqued at 75...

    Do you know why those plugs are installed backwards? Nevermind, I googled it...there correct.
