    Changing the hyd. Filter in my farmall 560 and do not have the oil filter retaining spring. Part number 374 997 R1. Any suggestions or place to get one? I'm using element 388084R93. Shouldn't there be a screen or something to go into the big opening in the filter that faces the cover plate...

    I have the pto with the large plug on top to insert a tool to adjust the clutches. I have tried to get it to stop slipping under load with no success. Could the belvel washers be the problem? Is it difficult to get and replace them? Is it OK to operate the tractor with the pto removed...

    i don't think the valves under the dash have been moved. how does one unstick the main valve in the hydraulic pump??

    what would cause the hydraulics to "go under load" for about 3 seconds, pulling the engine down a bit. then run normal for 5 seconds or so. these times are an estimate. the hitch control works fine and the power steering is ok. it makes a kind of squealing noise and the main hydraulic line...

    I have a 560 Farmall with the clutch type PTO,(NOT the plantary). I have seen both HY-TRAN and motor oil recommended. It takes 1 pint. What is the best choice?
