    On a 99 F350 with a 5.4 , it has 282k miles and it was from a construction company that puts new motors in often. Is there a vin number I can look for? The motor seems pretty good so I'm hoping it was replaced or is it likely it could be original?

    It was not charging at all, it has power to the main terminal, small green wire when key is on, non to pink wire. I was able to get it to charge by connecting the small pink wire to positive. I also checked a fuse and it's good and took a couple wire connections apart to check for corrosion. I'm...

    It is a fiat tractor with cylinder on side and power steering pump on front of motor. How do you check or add fluid? I don't see a reservoir so is the pump system all that holds oil

    No. It's what rustred said. Also the fan is a seperate unit from the water pump.

    As long as it doesn't foul plugs too often leave it. Also I think if the timing is more advanced they will smoke blue more than less advanced.

    On a 560 diesel it has a straight line stream shooting out underneath the water pump . It's hard to see in there but looks like it's in the middle under the mounting base, (not up by the shaft) its just a thin line aiming straight forward. It amounts to a steady drip.     It was pushing into the radiator and overheating/pushing antifreeze out the cap fast after starting. The head gasket it distorted on both ends but the main gasket rings look ok. By the pictures would that do it?
