    DC brake disc

First thing is I've been unable to get the disc off the right side. I tried driving some screwdrivers and chisels in. Secondly it looks like new ones are expensive so looking for a source to get one or two cheap if I get it off. Also it seems kinda ridiculous to have to buy just liners and have...

Is it possible to replace the front seal by just removing pulley?

    DC Timing

I did find it. I was thinking it was a hole but I had to push a paper towel in to wipe oil off to see the stamp. Also realized a guy on you tube is correct that pushing the mag in retards the timing and pulling it out advances it. It's confusing because at first I thought it was the opposite...

    DC Timing

I found it and removed it, however I can't find the hole in the flywheel. When the magneto snaps for #1 , I checked with a pick and nothing, also its submerged in oil

    DC Timing

I am wondering where is the timing inspection window for the flywheel? It has the Case magneto. I took the magneto off to file the points and tried keeping it the same but I ended up having to move the spark plug wires one hole cw so it's incorrect. (Not sure if I bought it wrong or if I did it...

SMTA starts/runs great but smokes and has Lo engine knock

If it still works good you could just keeping using it without much concern since you can get a M motor cheap on fb. If you do the work yourself you can overhaul it for $500-1000. If nessasary I found a shop that grinds crankshafts a lot cheaper than a big professional shop for example.

    Allis 190 Diesel Landhandler

It's prababaly a bad choice for a round baler because it doesn't have true live pto and I don't think you can shift using the high/low selector to back up. I had a 190 xt and my neighbor I was working for needed a tractor for his round baler since his 966 was down, so I offered to let him use my...

    WD pto acted up

The set screw is there and I did tighten it some more. Something must be wrong that it is turning hard. It is now in the 8 o'clock position. There seems to be about a 1/4" of spring action on the lever so when I wired it down it was enough to work but not sure how much of a load it can handle. I...

    WD pto acted up

It didn't have any problems before. I haven't used the pto in a couple years but today I couldn't pull the handle. I just wanted to run a green chopper for a minute so I disconnected the rod and tried hammering it back. I had it so it was parallel with rod but still in neutral. I kept going...

    WD to the rescue

As if the bitter cold isn't bad enough and then my driveway drifted in again. Below zero the Allis Chalmers barely turned over on 6 volt and started on the 2nd crank or 1st crank with choked gas. Amazing how easy they start with magneto. With the hand clutch that you can shift with live...

Wd 1950,s stuck shifter how to

I also have that problem with a WD and did what previous poster said, however I just leave snap ring out and shift carefully and rarely have a problem without fixing anything.

    $100 Farmall H

Too bad it has the non adjustable front wheels. The adjustable ones look much better imo.

SC Case and Allis Chalmers WD should be friends now

Also I didn't know it was a wet clutch, I noticed there is oil on the bottom but not sure if it's suppose to, the oil level is a couple inches below the clutch so I should check what the level is suppose to be?
