1954 NAA Jubilee Hydralic NIGHTMARE NEED THE EXPERTS HELP

Do you have a vane pump or a piston pump? If you don't know take a picture of the pump and post it. I have worked on my Jubilee hyd a couple of times and it was always the pump not putting out enough pressure. A little air getting to the pump will cause this problem. You should not waste...

    MF#12 Bill hook removal

I have a MF#12 baler that needs new bill hooks. I have no service manual yet, and the closest dealer is 50+ miles away. Can they be replaced without a complete dismantal of the tieing assembly? I know there is a pin thru the center if the hook, just can"t access it.

8N hyd lift - questions with pics...

I haven't checked my manual but I think your cam pin is worn off. I can't see it. If you don't get a picture from somewhere I could send you one. Don't know how to post them here.

    Planing a Cylinder head

I think I would consider adding a solid steel headgasket to the one you have to compensate for what you are losing after milling. With the low compression and lots of headbolts this should work fine. JMHO Jim

    Starting problems

His question was how to wire his alternator. He did not ask if he should make the change. He was not asking for advise on wheather he should make the change. He did still has not got the answer he asked for. He simply wants to know if anyone can help him with the wiring of an alternator. Jim

    Starting problems

Why are people against upgrading to 12 volt? Because they do not realize the tremendous benefit from changing to 12 volt. Between 12 volts and electronic ignition this is the smartest improvement you can ever make to a 9N,2N,8N, or Jubilee. Why don't any automobile manufacturers in the world...

    Jubilee Smokes

Could it be an excessive amount of gas on first start-up? Could your gas shutoff be leaking very slow and filling up the carburetor and breather pipe and when starting drawing the excessive gass into the engine causing the smoke? Excessive gas will cause smoke. Just an idea. Be sure to give us...

    8n eating bendix gears

My best guess (after 50 years owning and using 9,2,8N's) would be to retard the spark slightly. I am convinced that (from your description) it was kick-back from the ignition firing too soon. Did you reset the timing recently or change the points? Be sure to let us know for everyones benefit...

    53 NAA Jubilee

I have the lines for a vane pump. Would sell for $30 for my trouble packaging, plus shipping cost. Dark here now but could look in the A.M. to be sure they are still hanging in the barn. They were working great but I replaced the pump with a piston type and had to use different design lines. Jim
