MF#12 Bill hook removal

I have a MF#12 baler that needs new bill hooks. I have no service manual yet, and the closest dealer is 50+ miles away. Can they be replaced without a complete dismantal of the tieing assembly? I know there is a pin thru the center if the hook, just can"t access it.

I looked in the manuel and it does not say how the bill hook are removed. But I know we have had our knives off to clean them and sharpen them and bill hook was accesible.

If It is like my NH, you can replace them without removal of many parts. Remove bolts at back of knotters to tip knotters up. There is a driven in pin that goes through the gear at the top of the billhook shaft. Drive that pin out, and billhook can be removed, pulling down and out of knotter frame.

It is not like the new holland. I am also trying to remove the bill hook on a massey 12 baler. I cannot figure it out so if anyone has knowledge about removing the bill hooks let me know.
