Disc dimensions
Yes, I'm not sure why that that comes up that way on JDPARTS.COM unless perhaps JD reused that part# years later but RE29785 is a disc for a JD 4000 series "Compact Utility Tractor". The AR1052R I need dimensions for is for the 2 Cylinder Model "R" tractor shown as item# 22 in the PC0183 JD "R"...- JimnhR

Clutch Bearing install question
I got a new Bearing and bearing washer(R251RA). The old washer was flat and the new one is curved. The parts book seems to show the high, convex end of the washer pointed toward the engine and the concave side toward the bearing but I"ve seen in these discussions that some always install them...- JimnhR

Clutch Bearing install question
Outboard roller bearing on my R will just barely go in by hand and I can seat it against the washer that way. Wondering what holds it there. It's not a press fit but it is snug and I don't know if that's enough. Does anyone add any loctite between the outer race and the pulley bore to be sure it...- JimnhR

R Pony Plugs
They are 18mm(2 cyl pony). It currently has Autolite 386 plugs but they appear to be resistor plugs which I understand don"t work as well. I"m also trying to duplicate the "correct" heat range as close as possible-I"ve replaced quite a few snowmobile pistons with a hole in the top from too hot...- JimnhR

Model R Hour meter
I'm trying to find which color belongs on my mid-1952 R. The other 3 gages are white but the digital style hourmeter I have now that I want to replace with an original is Black.
