    300 U

Just bought this tractor for a repair project. Motor is loose but needs a lot of TLC along the way. In my mulling it over I am thinking I should start at the front and remove parts until I get to the rear end. The clutch doesn't seem to work and when they loaded it by picking it up water ran out...

    Master Cylinder repair.

Ok, I'm working on a forklift for a guy and he got the kit but I haven't seen it yet. Is there a plastic sleeve included, to install the rubber cups? Last time I did one was a long time ago. It looks like it would be easy to damage the cups on the sharp edges of the bore. Also I don't know the...

Hello, In my Operators Manual, there is an arrow pointing to an area on the left side of the tractor, and in front of the clutch pedal. There are two bolts where the arrow points. Can anyone here tell me which bolt is the transmission oil fill check bolt? Don't want to remove the wrong one, only...

He hooked my transfer tank, I used to fill my tractor when I was using propane, to get gas to the house. He has the hose to the regulator hooked up from the liquid outlet of the tank. Should the regulator...

Electric start conversion for a JD A

My neighbor wants to convert his hand start A to an electric start. Are there aftermarket conversion kits available? Told him I would check on the forum and let him know. Thanks for any help. Email is open. P.S. An after thought-- does the factory still have these kits available?

    2840 fuel gauge

How can I test a fuel gauge? I have 12 volts going to sender, roughly 1/4 to 1/3 tank of fuel and the sender reads 48 ohms to ground. Tech manual says 0 ohms empty and 180 ohms full. Manual says to use a gauge tester or a known good sending unit to test gauge. I have neither. It is no big deal...

    8N Rear Hub

I have a leaking axle seal and am replacing it. My hub is tight, but has a wear ring against the seal. How much is tolerable, and is there such a thing as a sleeve for this? Also, do I have to remove the plate the seal rests in, or does it go in from the outside? I can"t really tell. Thanks

    John Deere 210 39 Bagger

Howdy all, Has anyone ever seen or attempted to add a bagger to a John Deere 39" deck on the 200 series tractors? I have searched and searched the net and all I found was that the 47" deck could be fitted with a bagger. If I could only find a lower bagger tube (from a JD, Craftsman, MTD...
