    tranny leak

    By "tranny leak" I mean the cover under the transmission (where the shifter is) is leaking fluid from around one of the bolts holding the pan in place. The bolt is located about mid-way of the transmission, on the right side. Hopefully that makes my problem a little clearer. Thanks, Joe

    My 8N Restoration

    Yeah, that kinda looks like a battery disconnect. Makes me wonder if maybe the battery was being drained due to some kinda short, and rather than unbolt the ground, he simply put a disconnect into the ground wire. Just a thought. Joe

    Just a few words to say how much help this site has been. My 8N has had problems with starting and running under load. I tried new plugs, new points and condensor, checked fuel flow through carburator, air filter for rats nest, and wired out carb. orifices with an old banjo string. Then I read...
