    cat dozer cab

    i just dug out a old cat cab like this too for our D6 but all the wood is missing, basically all that is good is the 4 posts. Im going to use it just to make a roof overhead. i would like to see what one looks like complete

    Super 88 Diesel Thermostat

    i pulled the head off my tractor to get a new valve seat put in and when i pulled thermostat housing off there was no thermostat in it??? Is there supost to be one in there? I dont know if my grandpa took it out so that the coolant could pass through using the electric heater?

    Super 88 Brakes

    I got the seal out with not problems thanks for the help. There were no shims though. Also any idea on where i can find a new seal? Number on the seal is 4003 M1 C/R. Anymore help would be great thanks

    Oliver 66

    I was told Oliver 66 with wide fronts were rare. Also is that is a 88 with the old style front end that would be a pretty rare tractor too. For the 9000 66, that i do not know about.

    Super 88 Brakes

    Hello, I took the brakes covers off my tractor to make sure i get the right size Disc (7" 29 spline). When i took the right side off everything was coverd in gear oil. Im guessing there is a seal that is leaking?? My question is is this hard to replace and what is involed in doing it?

    to help with the low sulfer diesel put some ATF into the fuel.. help lube and clean pumps and injectors.

    3 or 4 bottom

    I have 1955 super88 Diesel and i pull a 3-16 plow and can sink it in atleast 6 to 8 inches and in virgin ground can pull it no problem if i can get the traction. Mine is geared low so i pull it in 2nd gear.

    ok thanks ill check those boots and i am going to pull the hydro pump as soon as im done planting with it.. i never though of the hydro lever boots. thanks for the tip

    Oliver seat spring replacement?

    i did mine on my super88 a few years ago and it involved a 35ton press and a lot of heat, were rusted right up tight!!! they will come apart just takes some time. once they were apart i just cleaned everything up and pt the new ones on and new bushing.

    super 88 hydrolic pump

    Hello my hydro pump leaks out all the fluid and the other day when i checked it to add more the oil was white so i am guessing water got in there but never has before, where could the water come from besides the vent/fill cap?? i was told the bottom of the pump cracks?

    caterpillar 126 CCU

    Hello i am wondering if anyone knows of any websites that would sell the clutches for the 126 Cable Control unit. also are they the same as the #25? i was told they were the same as the steering clutches.. any help would be great. Thanks Joe

    most inline 6"s have the same firing order 1-5-3-6-2-4 . . to remember this.. 15s to young 36 is to old and 24 is just right... once a mechanic told me that i never forgot....
