    IH 656 Head Gasket

    I'm installing a new head gasket on my 656. It has the 263 gas. The gasket is copper. Should I use copper coat compound on the gasket or the spray? What works better? Thank you.

    Dearborn sickel mower

    I came across a Dearborn 7" sickle mower #m 14-16 in the local ads and was wondering what a fair price might be. It is mostly complete except for the male end of the pto coupler. The knives are excellent and it also has a extra blade. The guy has a coupler that I"m sure I could make work.

    Red paint for 8N

    When I need to touch up any of the red, I use TSC rattle cans. They match the rustoliem color spot on. For dark spots where the color is gone completly, I hit them first with a light gray primer. The red doesn"t cover well without doing this first.

    I"ve found Rustolium safety red matches the origional 8-n color really close. I buy it at Lowes for a reasonable price per gal.

    8N pie weight value?

    If you find a set, make sure you get the mounting studs. I had taken my weight set off years ago then decided to mount them on a different tractor last summer. As my luck goes, I couldn"t find them. I got lucky and bought a non runner at a sale that had the studs but no weights. Replacement...

    Pictures of two of my N's in their Winter clothes

    I have a heat houser like the green one. It was made for a JD A so I have to get on from the rear. The chains I use are from a semi that I removed one half of the with. I cover all my sides up though along with about half of the front. That way I get more heat from the engine. I have it on my 8-n.

    OT-Generator for freezers

    Our 4500 k gen will run the whole house, which includes 2 refrigeraters. I turn off the main breaker then plug the gen into the dryer plug. It will back feed all the rooms.
