    my 620 had gas in oil so drained it and replaced filter now i cannot get it start has new gas and getting spark wont even pop tried pulling it did not help does have new plugs Looking for suggestions Thanks

    JD 2940 key start problem

    check the switch underneath the plate where your gear shift levers are it may have come unhooked or gotten dirty . only have to remove four bolts I believe that is what happened to mine years ago

    If you can trade for a 4020 i would go for it they are a heck of a tractor.

    ok guys I replaced all the gaskets and o rings put in new oil filter but still have gas in oil what should I try next?

    Ok I now understand when you say ball valve. I was reading too much into your suggestion. I already have a shut off valve on on my bowl. Thanks.

    Thanks Mike is there a specific name for that ball valve or should I just tell them I want to switch over to a ball valve system ystem?

    I have jd 620 that is getting gas into the oil I put anew float on it but it did not help. Open for suggestions on some other ideas to try thanks for any and all help. Ed
