    I do watch the clutch pressure guage and it does take a bit before it comes up. When I push the clutch in it does not drop. We have had this problem for many years as I remember. The direct drive does lock up briskly and does stay in the green.

    I have a Case 831C that is a real bugger to shift into forward or reverse. I get it idled way down and it still grinds into gear. The oil levels seem to be fine. Once in gear it runs great. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
