    Combined barley

The dogs followed me or Bonnie who was raking all afternoon. They would follow me for a few rounds then go to the other field and follow Bonnie for a few.

Finally got dine with barley combining yesterday. Yield was down a lot due to the hail damage but not as bad as it could have been. Here is a video https://rumble.com/v7dsubo-combining-barley-2026.html

    Combine repair

When i changed the header to get ready for barley i found the feeder house floor had worn through. So I cut out the bad spot and replaced it with new. Of course somewhere along the line I managed to do something to my hand. Looked like the ring finger knuckle was out of place, but the...

    Cut barley yesterday

Yes but some things are to case specs. The cutterbar is at a different angle and some drive parts are heavier duty. Most case models came with case engines.

    Cut barley yesterday

Yes, let's weeks and green heads dry down. This wasnt bad for weeds but some came up later so done was over ripe and some was a bit green yet. This way the green will dry down and the rope wont drop heads.

    Cut barley yesterday

Cut my barley yesterday with my 955 swather. There is nothing as pretty as a field of grain ready to cut. Going to try to bale some hay today and hopefully combine this barley by the end of the week.

    Cut barley yesterday

Is there anything as pretty as barley ready to cut? Spent the day cutting with my 955 slather. Sure wish it was going to yield as much as it looks like, but the hail on the 4th and 7th did a lot of damage. Hope to bale some hay today and maybe combine the barley by Friday.

I got a quick hitch for my 530 but it doesn't work on most of my tools. My case blade has 3 pin settings so you can tilt it to the side for things like cutting ditches, since those are circular to keep pin spacing the curve prevents use of the quick hitch. My brush mower has a brace under the...

To tighten the hand throttle there is a double nut on the shaft at the bottom of the column, you can get at it through the hole in the casting. Just tighten til you get the resistance you want.

If you have a running tractor you can jack up one rear wheel and strap the tank to the wheel and let it run for a while. Those dash lights are available from external_link in new York. He posts here and watches this site.
