MF 200 Loader hydraulic line fittings

Does anyone happen to know what size the fittings are on MF 200 loader for the upper lift hoses. They are a short hose and the fittings are o-ring at the ram side and flare fitting at the tube/block assembly. According to the parts manual it says it's 3/8, but there is no way it's that small...

    Right side brake problems????

I put all new brake shoes and hardware on my "51 8N and I noticed when I adjusted them that the right side is adjusted out a lot farther than the left. And the pedal does not feel as solid as the left side. Feels soft. It's not real bad but there is definitely a difference.

    Hydraulic pump help

Is there a chance that someone might know what kind of pump this is? I have a 51 8n and the pump is from a Dearborn 19-8. I found the pump for the 19-8 but it is a little different. As you can see from my pics the back is solid. And the original looks like it had a bolt or drain on the back...

    1951 8n not starting HELP!

You know whats funny. I even printed out your first post on timing trouble shooting. And until now, I noticed your firing order. I was so set on 1234 that every time I saw 1243 it looked to me as 1234. Lol I guess you can call that dyslexia.

    1951 8n not starting HELP!

Be truthful I haven't even looked at the amp meter yet... I was more concerned about it running and oil pressure. I will look at it tonight when I crank it and start it.

    1951 8n not starting HELP!

I check the insulator last night. I had no continuity between the dist body and the copper strip with the points open. Also had 12.87v at the points. They were arcing a lot though. The only thing I don't know how to check is the condenser. Can it be tested? Either way I happen to have another...

    1951 8n not starting HELP!

I keep thinking it's a timing issue because I'm getting no spark to the wires. But why would it run good for a little while if the timing was so bad? I didn't even think that it might be a possibility that the distributor might be moving. It seems pretty tight. I didn't even think about checking...

    1951 8n not starting HELP!

Okay, here's what I got done tonight. I reset the timing again. Just to let you know I know I have had the timing correctly in the past. Unfortunately I just had the firing order on the distributor incorrect. So when I fired it up tonight it ran great for about a minute and a half to two...

    1951 8n not starting HELP!

Yes sir, the last thing I did today was try to reset the timing back because I had moved it a little to see if it made a difference. But when I went to check for spark on #1 when the points open I was not getting any spark. I had to quit for Xmas dinner. Lol. I'm going to go back to it...

    1951 8n not starting HELP!

Ok I am very embarrassed to say this but my starting problem is fixed. Just like I thought something simple. Lol. After going over your 75 tips for about the 5th time I came to the end on the firing order and I said that's gotta be an error on the 1-2-4-3.. after looking at my manual again it...

    1951 8n not starting HELP!

For some reason I still can't post the video I took. I went back and tested the plugs at a 1/4" gap on my tester and here's my results. #4 wire was a consistent spark. #3 was good also, it might have skipped 1 spark. #2 was not consistent at all and #1 was even worse. So question: knowing that...
