MF 230 Gas Fuel Tank and Clutch Questions
Just picked up a Massey Ferguson 230 gas. It’s missing the fuel tank and the mounting brackets that go with it. Would anyone be able to send a picture of what the mounts look like so I could make some, going to check out a few junk yards nearby but there’s not many masseys in our area so I’m not...- Josh M.

Ford 9600 motor weight?
Anybody have a rough ballpark on the weight of a 9600 motor with all the accessories on? (Manifolds, turbo, flywheel, clutch) -

Ford 7600 head gasket
Our 7600 rowcrop blew the headgasket. As far as I know it has the factory 256 motor. Are there any differences on the 256 motors I need to look out for when buying a top end gasket set and head bolts for this motor? And am I better off getting parts from the dealer or a reliable parts website? -
Tw25 FWA stiff steering
I had the same issue with my 8730 for a few minutes, it cleared up after driving a bit. If you had the top cover off to change the seals for the shaft you have to make sure that top cover is aligned perfectly so it doesn’t bind. -

If I remember correctly the seal I used had about half of that sticking up past the metal sleeve. Is that seal in the picture the one you got off the website you sent in the last post? -

I did replace that one, I used the smaller 1.776” seal, the kit comes with a 1.9” seal that’s way too big for the valve I have. It stood proud of that metal sleeve and crushed down fine from what I could tell. The metal sleeve measures perfectly 1.75, should I have used the 1.9” seal? Seems... -
