    4430 hydraulics

    I read that the screen is on the left side just in front of and below the axle hosing but I don't see a plug to remove would it be behind the fitting that has a rubber hose just in front of axle?

    The filter was changed this April.I haven't cleaned a screen since I have had it last 5-6 years is it a plug near the other filter?I can check the pressure tonight. And see if anything gets hot faster.

    4430 blower stops working on high speed

    on our 4430 when you turn the blower to high speed both motors will run for a few seconds then turn off will run all day in low speed replaced both motors a last year since one was out thinking one of the new motors is drawing too much causing breaker to open is there anything else to look for

    added an extra 5 gallons of fluid and bled air like said now steering and brakes are working again. is it the seal for the pickup tube behind the filter that causes it get air in pump ?

    looking at a IH 986 the shifter linkage for transmission range has alot of play in it most of the time it will not go into reverse or park. Is there a bushing on it that wears out and is it a big job to repair

    FORD 7740

    looking at a 7740 on an online auction says it has an error code e 49 on start up and the oil light on the left side of the cluster stays on. Are there any common failuers on those? did they have many electrical problems with that model

    thanks for the info about the power beyond kit I have put one on a jd didn't know they called it the same for international. Does the 966 have any common failures to look for

    looking at IH 966 it has a loader using both sets of rear remotes can you buy a kit to add a 3rd set could you tie into the hydro line and not use the rear remotes for the loader ?

    it is a quad trans and is not 4wd that sensor behind the filter is the one i have that has the broken off wire it only has the one wire that goes to ground where was a wire hanging by it but it didn't look like it went to the switch it had an eyelet end on it i grounded it and the light didn't...

    its the port that has clutch by it right i pulled the plug it looked like a 1/4 thread i got a 1/4 hydro hose to make a gauge but it wouldn't tread in is it different than 1/4 pipe thead? the light was flashing on start up this am checked the fluid looked like it had some moisture so i drained...
