    How difficult is it to change the pan gasket in a wide front D17 Series IV? I seem to have a leak in the rear curved part of the pan. From what I can tell it looks like the front axle needs to be removed along with the starter and stearing cylinder.

    Does not appear to be using oil. Does not smoke and oil level stays at full on stick.

    Is there any way to stop oil from leaking down the oil fill cap onto the valve cover? I can see the steel wool in the cap, but I do not see anyway for the oil that gets into the wool to get back into the valve cover.
