    Restoration suggestions?

    Who does restorations? Solid reputation and done right, It Would be for a1976 IH 674. Running condition and being used as we speak. No paint and body work at this time, need wiring harnesses, for lights etc. and hydraulic tune up etc. I’m in Central Virginia. Thanks, -G

    I get that, but the outside lever is the only one that raises and lowers the arms. The middle one does absolutely nothing, I’ve tried every combination, such as the outside lever all the way down, the inside lever does nothing, put it all the way back and no lift, if I move the the inside lever...

    So, it seems the draft control lever(outside) is the only thing that raises and lowers the arms/implements, the inside lever does nothing, it says fast at the top and slow at the bottom of the sticker on the outside lever, the inside says raise or lower

    Bogging down

    ok, I’m running a 6’ woods finish mower on my 8n for the first time. It’s got all new blades belts etc. tractor is 12v just had plugs, cap rotor points etc changed. It bogs down when I start to cut with it. Better if I raise it up a little but the mower is already set on the highest cutting...

    It runs great without an attachment behind it, just under load it bogs down. Didn’t try it till the other day. He’s on vacation now.

    Also, I forgot to mention, the governor seems to be working perfect properly. Whatever you wanna call it. The spring on the outside of the governor is very tight. It’s not loose or slacking so I do not think it’s the governor either. Maybe it is like you said just the carburetor.

    Yes, I did mean carburetor, and no, I haven’t tried messing with any of the adjustments and he didn’t suggest it. He just thought it might be the resistor if the coil has a built-in resistor, but it didn’t say so on the box so for the main Jet, do I turn the screw in or turn the screw out and...
