    Well, after I baled 8 bales I tried disengaging the pto and it did disengage but it had heated up and started to smoke. I shut it down for a half hour or so and then kept on baling with no more issues. Hope there are no more hiccups with this. To

    It has good snap on the lever and it runs my baler when it is disengaged.

    That's what I thought too. Now the question is , how many shims would I have to add. Is there a way of seeing that there are enough shims without having to assemble and try each time the shims are added.
