ford 2000 3cyl generator light
I dids the test from the form manual Mike sent. Not getting much voltage. I agree it is the brushes. Easy enough to remove. I have a Case 300 that I think has the same problem. I have to take all the sheetmetal off just to get to the generator. THat one will wait till winter -

For sale oliver 550 for sale.
I bought this non running 550 last year. I have done extensive work and have a whole page narrative about what I have done to it. It runs fine now, but after 1 round with the 2 bottom plow I backed up and it is stuck in reverse. The seal to the tranny needs replaced. I don't really have the...$2,500.00 -

When I started my 2000 3cyl gas today the generator ligth did not go out. It is full bright the best I can determine. I watched the Rachael Gingal you tube on the charging system. My battery is charged by the tractor and had 12v remaining when i tested with a multimeter. It did NOT go up after... -

It once held the record for the either for the lenght of time it remained as No1 on the country charts, or total time on the charts. I think that lasted until into this century. Leroy was raising mules in Sedalia Mo. He might still be living there. Probably not working with mules at his age.- kenbob

YEs it was acceptable to store them that way. If they had a battery you needed to remove that. Had to let it set a few minutes before starting so the oil could get back to where it needed to be. Such a simple design, and still superior to anything else for bagging if you have the high lift...- kenbob

This isnt mine but just like mine. The gas tank fits in a bracket by friction fit. Bracket is pretty much up against the airfilter on the 12.5 intek. I can find shaft and bolt hole demensions. but the physical size is what worries me. IF I turn the motor 90degrees I wouldhave to totally redo...- kenbob

3 sides are good. I guess I could buy one with a mounted gas tank and cut the bracket for the old one away. That is the only clearance problem.- kenbob

I have that part figured out ok. It is the physical size of the engine that worries me as that 12.5 is a tight fit.- kenbob
