    I had the same trouble. I was told by a ford wrench hat it does direct air to cool the transmission.

    If you could see what was on tv or the color of the carpet you could tell alot. I think green was early 70's and gold was late 70s-early 80s if I remember right.

    They had that slant window on the Lincolns back in 60 or so. Uncle had the 63 Merc. Believe it was electric. Great ventilation but seems sort of not needed on cars that were mostly airconditioned. Of course everybody smoked back then. It could help vent the smoke.

    I saw the trunk thing but couldn't see it clearly. Closest I could think of was Packard, and except for the rear roof part it looked similar to some Packards.

    I am actually a little stumped on that car. That Chrome dip is like a buick, but the roof line doesn't look familiar to any brand. Nore do the the tail lights (whats left of them). IF it is a packard it would be their junior model. I am curious if anybody else can identify.

    And probably not much later than 83. That 52-4 Chevy was a tough old soldier, but that 2dr Vega Wagon would have pretty much been near the end of its life.

    Very interesting puz. I used to date films for my daughter's business by the car years. I didn't have my magnifying glass out, but there is the Blue Mustang convertible in the picture, so it has to be late 1982 (83 model year) or later.

    Allis Chalmers Model 66 All Crop Harvester

    Interesting ad. It was my understanding ALLIS model numbers were equal to header width. In this case 66 (inches) does not equal 6ft. I think the true 6' are model 72 and do not have a canvas. Brothers by Alton just bought a 72 (or maybe a 90) and did their first harvest with it last year.
