    Messicks.com has all of the parts diagrams you need. Go to their home page, choose Online Parts > New Holland Agriculture > Search for "3000" > choose the 3 cyl Ag tractor 1965 - 1974 > look at the Fuel System diagrams.

    Top cover removal

    It's not complicated. The main thing is once you get everything unbolted and the linkage disconnected inside the sump, chances are the top cover gasket is going to act like glue and not want to let go. You'll have to use some leverage to get it going.

    OT- Wife and Guns

    Might I advise you DON'T keep your guns loaded? I did that to a friend--with a capgun--ONCE. Nothing gets stored loaded any more.

    Noise from lift pump

    I'd give it a few days- that made all the difference after I reinstalled my 2N's hydraulic pump. Gave it time to get all primed and to get the internals properly lubed back up.
