    Rear WD Rim needed

I've got the same problem on my WD and plan to weld a patch on. I assume I need to take the tire and tube off so I don't burn through the tube when I weld, or could I avoid that somehow? Letting the air out of the tube so it's not tight on the rim or something?

    WD final drive lube

I want to change the final drive oil on my WD. The picture in my operating manual leaves me a little confused where to fill the final drive oil, and unless I missed it, also where to drain the final drive oil. Could someone either tell me or post a picture? Thanks!

    Bobcat 610 value

Is there some adjustment on the clutches? The guy said they slip some so, for instance, on dry concrete it wouldn't steer because the clutches would slip rather than turn the wheels.

    Bobcat 610 value

Thanks. I've read a little about the 610 and I've read about the mechanical drive but I think I also read that some are hydrostatic drive with the variable speed pulley controlling the speed of the hydraulic pump, which seemed to be what the guy was telling me. Is that possible? I'm not too...

    Bobcat 610 value

I found a 1975 Bobcat 610 that I'm thinking about buying. The guy said he thinks it has a 28 HP Wisconson engine, which he said uses some oil but otherwise runs fine. He said 53" bucket, 2 new tires, and said the other 2 tires are decent. He said he's been having some trouble with the...

    WD 45 Steering

It might be a good time to check your front wheel bearings; they could account for some slop.

    WD controls

I found some of these on eBay, so thanks for the help and I don't need to find a different vendor.

    WD controls

Do you have a suggestion for an after market vendor? I checked this site and looked online but I haven't had much luck.

    WD controls

The throttle and hydraulic levers on my WD move on their own. It looks like originally there were wood pieces on the lever that were supposed to provide enough friction to hold the levers in place. Can I get those anywhere, or is there some other nice way that I can fix this problem?

    Project

I just got Operating Instructions for Allis Chalmers Model "WD" Tractor on eBay and wish I had bought it two years ago immediately after I bought my WD.

    wd45 loader

You can disconnect the supply line to one of your two-point arm cylinders and run a line from that port to your loader valve. You can then run both two-point cylinders off of the one line if you put a T fitting under the tractor.

    WD hydraulics

Thanks. I just removed the old cylinders from the two point arms, because they leaked badly. That was easy, like you said. Hopefully I won't need to do the major seal replacement.

    WD hydraulics

On the WD, does the hydraulic fluid also lubricate the transmission? Somewhere I read that it does, and that you should be careful about the size of hydraulic cylinders you use so that you don't pump out too much fluid and leave the transmission dry. But my WD service manual lists a...

    WD starter

I probably should have done that, and it would have been a lot cheaper. My concern was that, in my ignorance, I wouldn't replace everything that needed replacing and that as a result I wouldn't improve things much.

    WD starter

That might be a good idea, but I'm going to send the wrong one back. As soon as I realized it was wrong, I took my Delco starter to a guy in town to be rebuilt. He's done work for me before and I think it will be under $150.
