    I think the man i got the mower from said the tractor was 18hp 3-cyl engine. It works good for lawn cutting. If grass gets too out of hand, I have a B with a 6' jd mower under it.

    Yes i think so. That is the sizes on both of my G's except one has a pair of 6.2x30.

    The WC came with the slant type manifold and had a piece of straight pipe that was flattened on the end.

    Standing behind the tractor it is located on top of rear housing. They are a plate with a bolt in each end. The serial is located just below the left side one.

    ACG has no oil pressure.

    I unscrewed the oil pressure gauge and squirted oil in to get mine primed.

    1953 Allis Chalmers WD45

    If you only need a tractor to mow with the G is ideal. I know it is harder to find one. I mounted a 5' JD finishing mower on mine. Turned the gear box to the rear and built a jackshaft and pulley system off the engine. Makes a great yard tractor.

    Allis G Tire

    I have 2 G"s. One has 6x30 and the other has 7.2x30. There is only negligible differences in the size. I like the 7.2 because of the wider width. It doesn"t take away from tractor"s appearance imo.

    It would be a 1948. Of the approximately 30,000 produced, more than 23,000 were manufactured in 1948 & 1949. Seems some of the ones made in the 1950's are harder to find.

    I just purchased a series IV diesel and have a couple of questions. I notice there are 2 hydraulic dipsticks on either side of the gear shifter. What weight fluid and capacity do each take? Also one of the lift arm cylinders is leaking. Is seal replacement hard to do on this? Thanks for any...
