Looking at the G in the corner of the shed, it looks like the rear rims are bigger diameter than orginal. They have what looks like extentions on the hubs to go to the larger rim. Why was that done and are "orginal" rims around in good shape? Thanks

i have seen a G like you are describing

it was a hi crop sold at mayer farm equipment through polk auctions for $5000+ it had 7x40 tires on it ( have no clue wher eyou would find them )

If it has the 7x40 wheels & tires it probably also has longer than normal fron spindles. Much more valuable as is than converting to standard configuration. I'm sure a G collector would work something out with you. Kip

Our G has 7x36 rears on extended rims and 4x15 fronts on extended rims. Not a comman set up but there are a few around. I had a chance to buy another one like ours a couple of years ago but I passed on it. My mistake.
