    axel trumpet

    Need some advice on removing the axle trumpet from 631. Take the wheel off and drain oil from dif and remove the nuts from dif. From there on I don't know if the axle will just slide out

    The crack is so small can't see it when I patched it as you can see the patch it didn't leak for awhile. It is not overfull and no oil around the seal

    All pics taken from bottom of axel except the one as you can tell. It is leaking were the white patch is maybe a little toward the trumpet but not on the trumpet. the leak is so small can't hardly see it but there is oil on the bottom inside of the wheel

    leak is on the under side of housing and looks like just a small crack about four to six inches long

    631 oil leak on rear axle assembly used jb weld on it last fall held for awhile now leaking again leaking from the trumpet on out. could this be welded? If could find one in a salvage yard.

    Need help with some pics on where to install the valve on my tractor, don't want to install on the fenders.

    Thanks Chris for the info. Have been trying to decide where to install the valve on my 631 so can angel the front blade. We usually get lots of snow here in SW Colorado have only had about 10inch so far.

    Looks like a nice set up. Would that fit on a 601 series and where did you get it? the hyd set up also looks good would to know if you added extra tank for fluid.

    acidosis in a steer?

    Never heard of acidosis, if your neighbor has his cows where alfalfa is growing and can freeze this will cause them to bloat. When i raised cows did loose a few that way

    2 spool valve on 631

    I bought a add on 2 valve loader plan on leaving the 1spool under seat and adding the 2spool. would like to know if anybody had idea where to mount this valve. don't really want to put on the fender also will not be using the power beyond port.
