    This is a wet sleeve engine. Would it be possible to weld something across the sleeve down a couple inches to attach a puller to and pull both sleeve and piston at same time? Engine had water down exhaust and sleeve is really rusty. Piston is down a few inches.

    Any luck on the size of the long belt? I just bought a 2400HL this week. My short belt is a D&D Power Drive 10850 DD 3216. Goggle that and I get nothing. I don't need any belts at this very minute but like to know sizes so I can have them in stock. How has the mower worked out for you?

    MF 41 Mower Guards

    Had some good luck. Farm supply store had a box of new guards on 50 percent off clearance. 679 836M1 at 6.50 each. I ask about buying the box full and they said 4 bucks each. MF guards are not a hot item nowdays but happy to get enough to do the entire bar minus 1.

    My mower needs new guards or at least new ledger plates. It has the heavy 679 836 M1 guard that it came from the factory with. These are hard to find and plenty high priced if you do. Anything that will fit on bar that are an easy to find and buy replacement for these?

    Does doing this have any impact on using the 3 point lift?

    666 shifter hard to move. Need both hands

    Looked at a 666 for sale. Would go into all gears ok but the shifter was so stiff you needed both hands on it. Don't know how these work or what it needs to be free moving???
