    OT: good news

Ditto the others! We just heard that our sister in law who thought that she was having a recurrence of ductile carcinoma after 13 years was not so! So another good end of year message. Be and stay well Ralph!

Hi Kent! How are you doing? That started that you sent works like a charm! With the snow today (5 inches) it may have a chance to work tomorrow! Thanks again! LEN

    Re: A Water pump

Agree.. don"t need a water pump. Here in VT even if I really work it hard, my 1950A will rarely get over 170.. (I have the shutters off it). There is a video floating around by a guy I think in NY who was plowing snow with a mid 40"s A at -20 and he indicated that he had put a big diameter...

    John Deere 50 without thermostat

We always used to say that by the time the A and B on the farm got done running a blower (belt driven) to handle filling three silos with chopped corn, almost steady all day when chopping, and then plowing in the spring, that they had the equivalent of taking your "town driving car" out on the...

    52 A engine rebuild

Tommy: I suggest you call Mark Rice. Mark lives in Moncure, but works at NCState. He is a lifelong JD guy, has rebuilt some of them and is an engineer (ag) by training. He is GOOD. He has a 40 crawler now at Moncure and they have several 2 cyl tractors on the family farm in Missouri. His work...
