    Case 580B CK Shuttle

I am unable to move the fork in any direction either by the shift lever or under the cover with a long punch. Something is keeping that fork from moving. The cover is loose and I can move it around but cannot lift it off. Thank you for your suggestion!

    Case 580B CK Shuttle

Of what I can see in that box it does look dry in there. That cover has to come off one way or another!

    Case 580B CK Shuttle

It is stuck in forward position. I did try, at first carefully, to get it out of forward. But, as frustration level increased I was no longer careful. I wonder if raising a rear tire off the floor and rocking it would help? One thing is for sure that cover has to come off to see what's...

    Case 580B CK Shuttle

Yep, that's my cover. And I too, have that big thick book like yours. But whatever broke inside that box must be what's keeping that cover from lifting off. I may end up taking that cover off in pieces, if you know what I mean! Thank you for replying and taking the time to look up the part.

    Case 580B CK Shuttle

Cannot get this cover off of the shuttle. About 10 years ago, while using the backhoe, the shuttle locked into forward and would not release. The transmission could still be shifted into all 4 gears and neutral and the range selector could be shifted between high and low and could drive the...

2640 Has No Forward Or Reverse

Well, the pin at the end of the clutch shaft was missing! A major tractor problem with such a simple fix. It would have taken me a long time to find that without you guy's helpful suggestions. Thanks again for all your help! Mike

2640 Has No Forward Or Reverse

Thanks Cliff and Russ for replying. Cooler today so I will be crawling under the tractor and checking Tx, Cliff and Russ suggestions. This is my main battle tractor and am lost without it. In the 20 years I've owned it I've only had to replace the brakes and one injector.

2640 Has No Forward Or Reverse

Thanks Tx for the reply. But I was thinking about your suggestion on that pin. Even if the pin was missing wouldn't the valve itself still be either reverse or forward. Could pressure to the valve fail that quickly, like immediately? I'm going to have to come up with fittings and a pressure...

2640 Has No Forward Or Reverse

I was pushing brush into a pile in a hollow. I moved the reverser to reverse and nothing happened. Failure was immediate. Was in 1st gear. No unusual noise, vibration, etc. Nose of tractor was down on a fairly steep incline (not dangerously steep). I had to use my 'G' to pull it to level ground...

    New to me MF 135

The Sheetmetal looks really nice; good candidate for restoration. In case you don't already know, The hood comes off in one piece. Two bolts under each side panel and the two screws by the 135 badge. Took me awhile to figure that out on my 135.

    135 Restoration

Thanks 2tractors. I got my compressor in 1991 and restored it. It's a 1958 Jaeger piston pump powered by a flathead continental engine. 75 cfm. I've done a lot of sandblasting with it and used to really enjoy sandblasting but not so much any more.

    135 Restoration

I went through a lot of brake clean on the engine. I just didn't want any sand near it. But, I did have to sandblast the back end. The front bolster and axles were off so I did blast and paint them away from the tractor. I don't have a paint booth and I painted on some of the most hot and...
