We cut Fescue,Orchard Grass, and Clover mix. The old 990 could cut it all and you never changed anything. Granted I don't have a manual and if he keeps it till next spring I will get one. Men I have a small issue. My dad has bought a 1219 haybind. We have used a IH990 since the late 70's. Well it finally wore out to the point it is was beyond repair. 2130 load control shaft seals
Thanks I will measure them. I have a thick white seal(L170667)that they sold me too. But no O-ring. I guess just a regular O-ring from the Auto Parts would work if I get it out. I just would like to have all the correct parts before I start this. It seems to be a pretty good old tractor...- mad hatter

2130 load control shaft seals
I do have the purple seals (L33864). But they dont fit tight on the shaft. I have the shaft with the bushings on them, and it is tapered in the middle. Will these compress to fit the shaft or are they the wrong ones? If I pull the shaft will it go back in? Or will I have to tear it apart...- mad hatter
