case 310 rear rims and safety

Did not know it was easy to get stuck, digging a trench or tree is what I do with it, then I put it in a barn, and i have to extend the hoe all the way out to enter, then bring it up once in. The narrow with is better inside the barn, the tires on my turf. At this point, I am just getting...

case 310 rear rims and safety

are rims reversible and all i need to do is move the fenders in? I would like the wheel base to be narrower, possibly even put turf tires on it. I find that the back hoe makes the front wheels come up off the ground when fully extended, and wonder if either changes would make it more dangerous...

Case 310 backhoe shuttle shift fluid.

wow, i stirred up some comments. I am truly going thru a learning curve. One person goes strictly by the bible, and the other knows how it works and the 90 probably would not hurt the shuttle, but was never officially recommended. Ultimately, i will have to take someone's word. I wonder...

    case 300

yes, all this terminology like Eagle Hitch and tractor tube throw me. So do you suggest i put something in to wash out/flush what ever junk is in it like diesel and then put the light transmisson fluid in there instead of 90 weight? Is 90 wrong in the first place?

Case 310 backhoe shuttle shift fluid.

I do have a 310, the manual confused me because it says 300 on the front. someplace on this forum i saw case TCH or equivalent of Allison C-3 for the shuttle shift, and I saw where that was dextron transmission fluid, so I now find that it is 90 weight, which i was told by a shop i can put...

    case 300

no, i do have a 310 backhoe, the manual says 300 on it and it confused me. I must be in a fog this morning.

    case 300

I have a round nose, I can not find the drain plug for the transmission, i put 80/90 in it and it is bubbling some, possibly because there was water in it. I did find the drain in the shuttle shift, there was maybe a pint of very thick sludge in it, do I put 80/90 in it as well?

Case 310 backhoe shuttle shift fluid.

I have a round nose 300, I am sorry, it was late last night, and it is a new machine to me. My FIRST tractor. Is the fluids both the same?

Case 310 backhoe shuttle shift fluid.

Will have to buy another 5 gal of 80/90 then, because both shuttle shift and trans. have same fluid in them. Unlike finding the shuttle shift drain, I tried to find the drain plug for the transmission and could not find one, so i added fluid, and now it looks funny when i check the level. I am...

Case 310 backhoe shuttle shift fluid.

I had what looked like old 90 weight come out, and it was not pretty. Maybe a pint. I think i am supposed to put a few gal. in it and it needs to meet allison-3, but all i can find in the auto section is allison-4, in a red dextron transmission fluid. i am supposing that it has been superseded...

    310 throttle

Makes me wonder why they made that arm a weak link. Now all i need is a G13475 rod for the foot throttle and rod G10746 and make the G1062, then hopefully it won't idol down when warm.

    310 throttle

yes, there is also a spring that is disconnected under the batt. tray and there is an arm in that area that goes thru a plate that is for something that must be connected to that spring or linkage. I have a long bar that goes along the engine that the wire is connected to. Do you have a better...
