G148 has trottle that goes under the gas tank, the lever is broke,
so a wire goes to the link. This runs, but i think it is the problem
when the engine shuts down. It pops when I start it again. I
check the carb and the throttle is all the way down, it really
doesn't go full throttle ever and there is a lot of pressure on the
linkage as if it will never open up. I adjust it all the way full and it
still has a lot of tension on the spring. If I find someone who has
the broken link under the gas tank and replace, will that solve
my issue. Is there a way of just adjusting the throttle with a
cable like the choke, so i can force the engine to do more than
idle? When the engine is cold, it seems that the throttle wants to
work better, there seems to be a little more movement.
