    Floor mat 5220

    Finishing the restoration on my 5220. I purchased the front floor mat from fehr, but no one has the mat that covers the rear of the cab (the seat area). Any suggestions?

    Thanks for all the advice. Glad to know it wasn't the original switch as I broke the damn thing trying to get it off. Replaced with an on/off toggle.

    I wouldn't have thought it should spin by itself either, but it's never been a problem per se, so I've never given it any attention. The tractor has always started right up and the battery stays charged.

    Thanks for the response, Jim. Are you talking about the flared compression fitting on the gasline? On my carb that goes into the elbow, and the elbow goes into the carb. My problem is the elbow-to-carb connection.

    Stripped out the original fuel inlet elbow in my carb and got a 1/8" machine thread elbow to replace it. I can't see any difference in the threads but can only screw the new one in 4 turns by hand. Does anyone know what size it's supposed to be? Do I have to order the specific replacement?
