    Oil drain plug on 630

Thanks for the idea. I can't believe it either. No rust, it just seems the threads have broke loose and it is wedged its self in the hole. It does not turn easy either direction. Thanks again

    Oil drain plug on 630

Thank you all for the advice on how to proceed in this mess I have seem to have made for myself, you all are a valuable source of information with your past experience. I think for starters I'm going to loosen the oil pump cover and drain what I can there. I'm not sure what would be next...

    Oil drain plug on 630

Thanks for the info! I was afraid that was going to be the best plan of attack. It is not leaking now, can I take the oil pump cover off and get most of the oil out for the time being. The fuel shut off diaphram let a bunch of gas into the crank case.

    Oil drain plug on 630

Plug will not come out of the block. Turns both way and does nothing

    Oil drain plug on 630

I seem to have stripped the threads trying to remove the engine oil drain plug. It just spins after I took a helper to the breaker bar. Any advice what to do next would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    H1 plow

Thanks for the picture. It appears I am missing that part. I don't ever recall seeing it around the, plow or tractor. Grandpa must have misplaced it after he quit plowing with the H. Anybody have a good place to find a replacement?

    H1 plow

Yes, I have a parts book, but I can't recall where that part is. On the tractor or the plow

    H1 plow

I have a plow and I don't recognize that part. I have it off the tractor now I'm disabled for 6 weeks so I can't go and search. A guy on here awhile back said he had a owners manual. That would probably help.

John Deer H1 hand operated plow

I'm not sure if you received my request. I would love a copy of the early H1 plow manual. I have a '41 H and plow that has been in my family since new. Email. [email protected] Thanks[/url]

    Re: JD 630

Rods were connected. The 530 that was the donor was just idling and didn't seem to phase it much. I have no idea of the amount would be. My brother has had succes with this method in the past.

    Re: JD 630

We were very carefull and I guess lucky. Left piston was about 3/4 of the way to the top so we picked that one. We pushed it watching the crank under the cover and stopped before it reached bottom. Then we went to the other side and pushed it back. Then it was free enough to pull the Pistons.
