    glad some one mentioned the sleep number bed, I have tried everything, inversion table and all, and yes, the sleep number gets me all night sleep, in fact we put one in our fifth wheel camper too.

    I ran case-o-matic s for years, hard to beat, even took the converter out of one and put a clutch in it, sounds like a shifter rail problem under the gearshift lever

    i sold my 1950 2 years ago for 3250, it tun great, but had to have the engine pulled to replace the bolt in the clutch linage near the throw out bearing, i had put a new clutch in it and lost the bolt, put in a different bolt 2 times, was just tried of pulling the engine,thinking new clutch...

    and OUR anner versary, is today, april 9, 48 years---and we moved onto the last farm we were on in feb. of 73,a real blizzaed for sure, must have been snowed in good,since we stayed there 28 years. this site is great, gets my mind off the very pain full bone cancer for a few minutes...

    there will be a antique tractor plow day on sat. april 11 starting at 10 am on the ED Offerman farm 3 1/2 miles east of Coggon ,iowa, it is east off of highway 13 on the monticello road. Ed s number is 319 435 2412 to reserve a plowing plot.

    88 diesel

    back in those days i had a 70D and a 3 bottom 4230 oliver plow that could be adjusted to 14 s or 16 s, it could not handle 3 16 s and our ground wasn t all that heavy, but remember, we used to grow alfalfa too.

    back to the t/a, what was the proper way to use it? some said let go of the handle and let it fall in, others said to push it in, (other words) ease the handle in, on the 300 s to the 560, i guess after that they had to be PUSHED in.
