    I agree with Mr Schwiebert, find out what really happened. Engine kits are available trough the internet. They can be installed leaving the engine in place.

    If it's a square hood like the other Masseys, its from the mid seventies.

    This is not a Fiat rear end but it is a Landini made tractor. Guys mix up these two company for the simple fact they are both Italian. Landini was also manufacturing engines under a Perkins license.

    175 hydraulics fixed!

    Yes they were designed that way back then. A dealer advised me to remove that short pipe and plug the hole going into the pump. That way if you use remotes, less chances of contamination entering the pump.

    180 loader question

    It would have to be on the alternator side. The newer models like the 390 have a dual pump in place of our single power steering pump. I don't know about retrofitting this style of pump to a 180.

    The 180 is a different beast compared to a 165 or 175. These two later ones were easily upgradable with an engine driven pump. On the 180, the frame casting is in the way and has no wholes to let a shaft trough. Our 180 gives us good result using the existing auxiliary pump in the tranny. Yours...

    We put an old ford loader on ours, I think it's a model B, it looks pretty decent, minor modifications but fits pretty well and works well too.

    Try the Oliver board also, the old 1300 and 1200 series are Fiat made and your UTBs are build under Fiat licenses.

    The clone Ford tractors that are sold as Farmtrac are made in India. The tooling was sent over there or bought by the Indian company Escort. There is no relation with the Ford company.
