    broken bolt in aluminum

    I have taken hundreds of exhaust manifold bolts out of aluminum cylinder heads on cars and truck using a wire welder like Jiles described, sometimes I get lazy and dont even use a washer just build up a a big goober weld and turn it out with vice grips, its actually pretty easy give it a try...

    Re-decking Hay wagon bed

    we always used tongue and groove and never had any spacing at all. so I guess I would put them right tight together. just my opinion and probably wrong

    Truck tool question... would you rather...

    if it was under warranty it got the original equipment bolts. the real problem with those is the egr cooler and oil cooler if they have been replaced with the updated parts then you wont have any problems with the head gaskets

    had one in the family long as I can remember and it has always worked well, but my new favorite is a henry lever action 22 that I bought last year now the old ruger can rest because the Henry goes with me now.

    1st truck

    offer 1,000 on the Ford 1500.00 is too much for the mileage and being a 2 wheeler. crawl underneath it and make sure the oil pan isnt rusted through. I work at a dealership and I could buy a truck like your describing for 500$ not trying to be a downer but 195,000 miles is worn out.

    1,500.00$ is as high as I would go. at 230,000 miles its only a plow truck at this point and with that kind of mileage be prepared to constantly work on it

    white smoke generally has to do with coolant if it was black smoke then you are overfueling

    returning Craftsman tools

    dont buy SK they have been bought out and they wont warranty anything anymore, and they are all chinese tools now, I have some Sk and when they break I guess Im just SOL. Craftsmen has never given me any trouble on warranty.
