    Ford 3230 MFWD

Thanks Rod, Will the axle shaft pull out of the hub, to replace the universal joints? I didn't actually try that. The bushings seem to be in good shape. The tractor has 1375 hrs on it.

    Ford 3230 MFWD

I have a Ford 3230 MFWD tractor with front loader. I believe it is 37 hp. However it has as much power as a 50 hp, I think. It pulled a John Deere 510 baler for several years, struggled a little going up the small grade a bit if the roll was getting big, but did a good job. Just wanted to brag...

    Pressure Washer Opinions

I am looking at this pressure washer from Northern Tool. I can get a cheaper, smaller washer but I have rented a 4000 psi unit several times and don't ever remember wishing I had less power. Would be used mainly for washing treated wood deck and cleaning up old tractors and equipment. I like...

    3930 new holland

I have a 3230 and as long as the high low gear is in neutral and the pto lever is off making the switch, it will start. Sometimes I have to move the high/low gear back and forth a couple of times too, especially if I'm in low and move it to the center. I usually have to move it to high, then...

    OT: Pinched Nerve

Also, I went to the chiropractor, a real good one and all I can say is, it was temporary relief. I wouldn't waste too much money on that kind of care again, as for myself. I could have put that money towards the deductible. If you don't have insurance, maybe the doctor would be willing to work...

    OT: Pinched Nerve

ell, I have the same problem, except on the left side. The doctor said I had a narrowing passage in my spine, for the nerve going down my arm between c6 and c7. my thumb index and middle finger went numb at start. My arm felt like a freight train was running over it, to the bone. It was the...

    63 Ford 2000

This guy I know has a problem with the tractor jerking in the rear end at a certain point of rotation. It is a 2000 4 cyl. diesel with 8 speed I haven't drove it, but the way he describes it, it sounds like a tooth missing on a gear somewhere. He said it is like it looses momentum at a certain...

    860, 5 speed trans.

Tim, Someone may have put the single clutch in there because it is cheaper. You could put a double clutch back in there and have a Live PTO tractor. I had a chance to buy a 960 one time that you had to turn it off to engage the PTO. I think it would be worth your time and money to check it out...

    Ford 801 diesel

Is it possible to put the flywheel on wrong, in relation to the degree numbers? I don't remember seeing a dow pin or anything that would keep you from it. Also does the shaft just pull out of the Roosa Master fuel pump, to replace those leaking umbrella seals, that puts diesel in the oil? I...

    Ford 3000 PTO Clutch

You might check with someone in your area who rebuilds clutch units. I use a company in Chattanooga, Feltons Clutch Service. All I do is take my clutch and pressure plate in and walk out with one that is reman and buy a new t.o.b and pilot bearing, from them too. I checked on one... 3 prone, 11"...

    Ford 800 Clutch goes out...

Look on the left side on the transmission, just above the starter. Their should be a model number with the serial number below it. May have to scrape paint off a little to see it. It is a 800 series, but that doesn't tell these guys what model it is. It is possibly a 860 with a two stage clutch...
