    I own a 630 gas and late model 3020 diesel synrange. i enjoy the sound of my 630 working but if I had to choose between my 630 or the 3020, I would choose the 3020.

    I Like a 148 loader for a 3020 and 4020. I think the 158 loader is best on a 4230 -4455 tractors because of its longer reach. The 168 was for the wide frame tractors 4840 on up.

    I'm sure there was some round tube axles still in stock and they were used up when possible on 20 and 30 series units. Dealership owners Always want to sell what's in stock first!

    Last one i did was 30 years ago. Edwards Machine in Goldsboro NC did mine. I remember the cost but I'm sure its a lot more now.

    8.1L in a John Deere 4020

    One of my concerns with 8.1L in a 4020 is the Modern engine blocks are not designed to be Structural support. You will need to address this. Please keep us updated on what you find out.

    I have an Early 2040 with open center hyd system with 145 loader. Handy tractor and dependable. Only fault I have with it is the open center hyd system.

    1530 injection pump removal

    I'm having a problem removing the injection pump from my 1530. I have disconnected all the lines and removed all nuts. but it wont slide back on the shaft. It has moved back about 1/8 inch and wont slide back any more. Has anybody had this problem and what did you do to get it to remove?
