    2 years ago,i paid $350 for a stuck model.salvage yards were getting about $1000.anything less would be a bargain.

    WC Allis brakes

    i moved my seat to the middle of the tractor,rarely do i need to use my brakes at all during the season.also this evens out the weight,no need to offset.i still need to center up my controls.once i changed all this,i would hate to go back.give it a try.

    i would use a gov spring for a 175 allis.it should rev to about 1800 rpm's about $4o from agco.

    ditch the combine gov,use a tractor gov,also spend$40 to buy a175 gov spring,it should rev to 1800 rpm's.good luck!

    how many here own a dyno?

    my wd-45 engine has shims in it.i believe the i&t shop manual calls for shims also.

    thanks mitch,the machine shop said this is possible.i still have to get 2 pistons removed from my rusty cylinders.one sleeve started to come out on me.the good news is that my crankshaft looked really good-standard bearings!
