    8N rear seals

    Check the nut in the center of the wheel sometimes they will back off. I replaced bearing and seal on the right side. of my 8n a friend came by and told me to put a rope seal on left side under the nut and tighten this stop the leak as dry as the side I replaced.I know somebody's gone to say it...

    Sorry about the caps. But yes Tractor will not start with out switch on. And toggle switch turned to on position.

    HAVE BOTH RAN TOGGLE SWITCH TO KEY SWITCH DOUBLE PROTECTION. KEEPS KIDS FROM ACCIDENTALY CRANKING.

    IF YOU'RE RUNNING A THERMOSTAT TAKE IT OUT AND SEE IF STILL RUNNING HOT. MAYBE BAD. OR JUST TRNED AROUND.

    6 volt generator 12 volt battery

    Is there suppose to be a step down for the generator. Oh by the way thanks for all the help on the hydrolic leak on rear axle replaced bearing and oil seal new nut on axle .

    rearaxle leaking hydrolic fluid

    no it' coming out by the center nut on the axle i was wondering if there's is a seal inside the axle housing.

    fluid leaking from rear axle seal seem to be hydrolic fluid also pto makes a pecking sound when under a load lift works fine.no hesitation no leak down. this is my first tractor 8n 50 model.
